Within the framework of collaboration between the “Fund of Caucasus” and Institute of Civilization of the Caucasus, Democracy and Civil Society “Kavkasioni” (Republic of Ingushetia) National Youth Choreographic Ensemble “Malgobek” from Republic of Ingushetia was in Batumi from August 26 to September 4, 2009. The Ingush delegation was headed by Magomet Gazdiyev – Director of Cultural Center at the Malgobek District Administration.

Along with the recreation in Batumi, the “Fund of Caucasus” with the financial and organizational support of the Government of Ajarian Autonomous Republic arranged an interesting cultural program for the Ingush guests including seeing historical and architectural monuments, museums as well as visit to Batumi Botanical Garden.

In August 30, the Ensemble “Malgobek” took part in the concert on the sea-front open stage arranged by Batumi City Administration. Together with the young Ingush performers, children’s and youth choreographic and vocal ensembles “Alilo”, “Machakhela” (Batumi), “Harmony” (Kobuleti) participated in the concert. The audience was especially pleased with songs in the Ingush language performed by Khava Dadayeva. The organizers of the concert gave special prizes and presents to the members of Ingush delegation.
