Goals of the Fund

To participate in the international movement ‘For the Peaceful Caucasus’; to promote the development of harmonious and peaceful relationship of Caucasian peoples and strengthen their role in the contemporary world.
To promote development and coordination of scientific research in Caucasian studies and relationships with Caucasian scientific, educational, archival institutions, centers of culture, museums and centers of monuments protection.
To popularize the phenomenon of Caucasian peoples’ cultures and ‘Caucasian civilization’ all over the world.
To promote planning and carrying out scientific research into Georgian and whole Caucasian geopolitical, geoeconomic, ecological, ethnocultural and ethnosocial problems in accordance with global realities and modern progress.
To create the informational-analytical base to be used for regional research and included into the international informational bank.
To awake interest for regional problems in specialists from other countries, governmental and non-governmental organizations and funds; to promote holding of international congresses, conferences, seminars and meetings on Caucasian studies.
To promote participation of scientists, pupils and students interested in Caucasian studies problems, in joint scientific and educational programs.
To promote and participate in restoration and protection of Georgian cultural heritage in the Caucasian countries and cultural heritage of Caucasian peoples in Georgia.
To promote peaceful coexistence of Caucasian people and countries, religious tolerance, cultural dialogue, development of “peoples’ diplomacy”, protection of natural environment and health in the Caucasian countries.
To promote study and restoration of national fields of culture and sport, holding of joint arrangements in the spheres of culture and sport.
To support scientific, educational institutions and creative unions in the Caucasian countries in preparation of publications of the results in basic directions and shooting documentary and historical-feature films.
To hold presentations and promote realization of topical ideas, initiatives, projects and programs on the Caucasian subjects.
